C. Porter is a Southern California–based author whose lifelong love of storytelling eventually led her from devoted reader to published writer. Born and raised in Southern California, she spent many years working in the customer service industry, where she developed a deep appreciation for human connection, communication, and the many layers of individual experience—elements that now subtly shape her writing.

An only child, C. Porter discovered early on that imagination could be the very best companion. While other children may have relied on dolls or siblings for entertainment, she often found herself building entire worlds in her mind. Books quickly became both refuge and inspiration. Throughout her school years, English was always her favorite subject, offering a space where creativity and expression were not only encouraged but celebrated.

As the years passed, her love of literature only deepened. Though the dream of writing a book stayed with her for much of her life, it wasn’t until 2024 that she decided to fully commit to that vision. Putting pen to paper marked the beginning of a new and exciting chapter—one that transformed a lifelong passion into a tangible achievement.

Today, C. Porter is a self-published author with one book currently on the market and another already in progress. She writes with heart, imagination, and a genuine love for the written word, drawing from a lifetime of reading and observing the world around her.

She currently resides in Southern California with her husband, her family, and her dog, Chance. When she isn’t writing, she continues to find inspiration in the stories she reads and the everyday moments that remind her why storytelling matters in the first place.
